Our History
Our knowledge of bucket handle jointers come from a lifetime of direct hand tool use,
Like many Bricklayers an original bucket handle was the only tool for jointing.
In recent years galvanised buckets had become harder and harder to find with the practice slowing and becoming only memory for some,
That's when we realised we had to do something to ensure the best jointing irons didn't fall to the history books,
With an intuitive knowledge of the features and performance expectations our design path was clear but difficult ensuring such a well known high standard was met.

Using, maintaining and re surfacing your Ding'er
- Every effort has been made to ensure your Ding'er reaches you ready for immediate use, However we do recommend a small amount of rough work before using on facework.
- Your Ding'er should only ever be used for pulling one direction in a mortar joint, never used as a chisel or subjected to impact.
- After each days use excessive mortar and moisture should be wiped from your Ding'er to prevent surface rust.
- Just like the Original Bucket Handle jointers a Ding'er can be re surfaced ,re bent and reused utilising all the available material, Below is a PDF detailing the re surfacing process
